Hello new Beta friend!
Helena and I are glad you are here!
HelenaCat is an application primarily made to track cycles in a way that better guarantees data accuracy and safety. It does this by being offline-first and by making the tracking steps as simple as possible.
If you would like to help us test this app and make it ready for the world then please follow one of the following links for the platform you wish to test on:
What does being a tester mean?
Use the app!
Given the primary use case is to track cycles, this means you will probably only be testing it for a given interval each month. That's what we are looking for!
Use it how you think it should be used. Track what you want to track. See how Helena's notifications to you come up and if they work for you.
The test is you using it.
Tell us what is hard to do
The question to answer! What parts of the app felt the most difficult or obtuse to use? What caused friction?
To be specific, this is not a question of what you disliked. That is a conversation for another time. What we want to know is:
- Was it hard to track a cycle?
- Did the notifications make it more bothersome? Less?
- Did the bullet journal make it harder to track what you thought was important?
- Any other points of friction in the app.
Ask us questions!
We have a subreddit set up, are propping up a Discord server, and will even take emails. Heck, holler at the person who drove you here. They probably know Daniel and can yell at him directly.
Your questions will help influence what gets built next and why.
